They have published the works of prominent authors such as J.K Rowling, Margaret Atwood, Paulo Coelho, Charles Bukowski etc.

Is the adjective 'prominent' a good choice in this case?

Thanks.

It's OK.

If you say 'such as' and etc, both tell us that there are other prominent authors. Say 'such as' or 'etc' but not both. Such as is more literary.

Note the syntax. They have published the works of prominent authors such as J.K Rowling, Margaret Atwood, Paulo Coelho, and Charles Bukowski.

Thank you for your explanation.

Would 'and so on' be redundant, too?

Can you please show us a sentence using 'and so on'?

I am talking about the same sentence; using 'and so on' instead of 'etc' in the sentence above.
