It's whether it be or just be it.
Nowadays everyone is having a stressful life, [be it / whether it be][men or women / a man or a woman].
However, these are very formal and old-fashioned ways of speaking or writing. Personally, I would avoid them.

This looks like Indian English. It would be more natural to replace it with has.
Mmmm.
Debatable. I am having a hard time trying to decide whether having a stressful life is an "activity". I think it is. Sort of.
