I always seem to have problems in this area.

could you please advise me what would be the proper use in the following phrase please.

mother natures paint brush
Would the apostrophe come before the s or after it?

Hello, Guest,

In the possessive case, there are 2 possibilities with the "s" and the " ' "
1. the possessor is in the singular "mother nature", then you add the ' , then the "s": "mother nature's brush"
2. the possessor is in the plural ending with an "s", then you only add the ' : "my parents' car"
