PROS AND CONS OF STUDYING ABROAD

A growing number of students nowadays have the tendency to study abroad during their time in high school or university. This subject brings both advantages and disadvantages.

Sending students to study abroad can broaden the mind of them. In developing countries like Vietnam, the scientific research implementing ability and studying advanced knowledge are still, quite limited. Therefore, schools for specialized students have been established to develop the country. However, the limited source of information and redundant task of theoretical learning seems to be difficult for the country to attain the ambition of development. Hence, sending students in specialized schools to absorb the knowledge in developed countries, then practise them in Vietnam is a novel idea.

Nevertheless, the cons are quite discernible. One of the top prestigious high school in Vietnam, or as many people would consider the highest ranking specialized school in Vietnam - Hanoi Amsterdam, has been sending 35% of its students each year to top universities from all over the world since the beginning of the school. Unfortunately, contrary to the expectations of those Vietnamese who pay an incrediblly large amount of tax to support Hanoi Amsterdam, most of these students prefer to stay and serve the countries they studied without returning. This debatable topic has lead to a controversial discussion about shutting down Hanoi Amsterdam in 2020. More surprisingly, this debate was started by a Vietnamese professor - who spent his high school year in Hanoi Amsterdam.

These two points which have just been raised are just subjective perspective of mine which mainly only consider the pros and cons of studying abroad bring to an impoverished country, Yet, there still benefits and drawbacks studying abroad bring an individual.

In conclusion, studying abroad bring both advantages and disadvantages.

A growing number of students nowadays have the tendency to (Very weak - delete this.) study abroad during their time in high school or university. This subject (wrong word. A subject is something like maths or science, or the theme of a book.) brings both advantages and disadvantages.
(That is not informative or meaningful. Nearly everything in the world has advantages and disadvantages. Saying this says nothing. Write a thesis statement instead. Give the reader an idea of these advantages and disadvantages. )

Sending students to study abroad can broaden their the mind (wrong form. A group of students have more than one mind.) of them. (incorrect. Use the possessive pronoun.) In developing countries like Vietnam, the scientific research implementing ability (very very awkward. ) and studying advanced knowledge (Knowledge is what you know. We do not study things that we know already.) are still, (wrong comma) quite limited. Therefore, specialized schools for gifted specialized students have been established to develop the country. However, the limited sources of information (Please explain. Why are there limited sources of information? Doesn't Vietnam have internet service? Is the internet censored so information is blocked? ) and redundant task of theoretical learning (I have no idea what you mean here.) seems to be difficult for the country to attain its the ambition of economic development. Hence, sending students to in specialized schools to learn absorb the knowledge in developed countries, and then practise them in return to Vietnam as a teacher, engineer or businessman is a novel (Novel means new and unprecedented. It is not a very good word choice here.) idea.

Nevertheless, the cons are quite discernible. One of the top prestigious high school (wrong form) in Vietnam, or as one that many people would consider the highest ranking specialized school in Vietnam, Hanoi Amsterdam, has been sending 35% of its students each year to top universities from all over the world since the beginning of the school was established. Unfortunately, contrary to the expectations of those Vietnamese who pay an incrediblly large amount of tax to support Hanoi Amsterdam, most of these students prefer to stay and serve in the countries where they studied without returning. This debatable topic (incorrect expression) has led lead to a controversial discussions about shutting down Hanoi Amsterdam in 2020. More surprisingly, (Why is this surprising?) this discussion debate was started by a Vietnamese professor - who spent his high school years in Hanoi Amsterdam.

These two points which have just been raised are just subjective perspective of mine which mainly only consider the pros and cons of studying abroad bring to an impoverished country, Yet, there still benefits and drawbacks studying abroad bring an individual. (That does not seem to be a good point for an academic essay. Do not mention points that you will not make. Only give arguments that support your thesis.)

In conclusion, studying abroad bring both advantages and disadvantages.(You need to summarize your main points.)
