Hi everybody,
I really need your answers on this topic. I came up with a question in an article "Computer games have serious effects on people's PSYCHOLOGICAL HEALTH". There are 2 answers:
A. People suffer from MEDICAL SIDE EFFECTS
B. People suffer from MENTAL BREAKDOWN
Which one do you think is correct? I did some research and found out PSYCHOLOGICAL HEALTH means MENTAL BREAKDOWN. But why does the author choose A? Is he wrong or what? Do medical side effects refer to "medicine/ drug side effects"?
Thanks for your help !

Neither answer seems good with the text given. 'Mental breakdown' is semantically too extreme for the situation, and 'medical side effects' seems odd in itself. I suggest C. People suffer adverse mental effects.
