NO. It doesn't. Not in English.
Einmalige Narizsse himaybe it's silly, but i was wondering if i should translate "pull and bear" as a two words or one phrase (together).is it some kind of idiom? i haven't found anything like "pull and bear" (together), but would it make any sense if i translate it "severally"?any idea?
hello there,
I think the word bear here comes with the meaning of wear. So it is like pull and bear which means take it and wear it "cuz clothes there is so good that you don't need to think" you just pull it and put it on. It might be wrong though, but this is what I think.

No, I don't think so. I think that the person who founded the store was not a native English speaker and could not find a better name.

"Bear" is usually a very negative verb.

We have the expression: Grin and bear it. It means: smile and keep quiet when you are insulted or live in an unjust society and suffer from it.
The donkey often bears the burden of carrying large heavy loads. Poor people often bear the burden of high taxes. The rich people have lawyers and tricks to avoid paying taxes.
Women bear children. Childbirth is difficult and painful. In some religions, labor pain was God's curse on women.

Pull ...Bear are Verbs in the instance of the Spanish fashion shop PULL & BEAR....Il other words it means Take and carry....Choisie or select your cloth or garnement and carry...That's the only logical translation I could ever found....Translated un French, it would mean Tirer, et emporter or Choisissez et emporter...

İt has a meaning, it nea ne try and buy, cos er say in english , pull on ur pants to mean wear them and bear as a verb means to carry , so they mean once u wear or try, u wont want to take off, also implying they fit everyone...nice sound and nice message for a clothes company

I didn't get it at first when I visited the store for the first time, I thought BEAR means an animal, and had no idea what PULL got to do with anything. But then I thought a little bit and I remembered that "bear" could be used in something like "bear in mind", so it's similar to "keep in mind", and PULL could simply mean "grab" from a stack or shelf of clothes. So I came to conclusion that it simply means "grab and keep(for yourself)" or "grab and wear".
I didn't know it was so unclear, I thought it's a bit unusual combination but I also thought maybe I'm the only one who had to even think to understand the meaning.
