It must be a cat, _____ it?

What kind of question tags should I fill in the blank? Please give me your opinion, thanks!

I'll do two of them. You do the rest. It's actually pretty boring once you see how it's done.

It is said that he is a thief, isn't it?

He is said to be a thief,.................................?

He could have gone by bus, couldn't he?

It is necessary to revise, before the exam,...............?

He must have arrived late,...................?

When I arrived, he was having lunch,............................?

That may be. Nevertheless, it's mustn't. Emotion: smile

Hi,
do people really say sentences like that, adding mustn't it as a question tag? I thought they usually added nothing, or "right?", depending on the context.

I believe that my British cousins would say "mustn't". I think most Yanks would say "right", as you suggest, even if they did use "must" in the original verb.

"That has to be a cat, doesn't it" is very American.
