Hi~ teachers.

One of my students asked me the meaning of 'rectch up' and I have never heard that expression.

I know vomit, throw up, and puke, but not this one.

Her son studies in the UK and and his roommate put a note on his kimchi (We are all Korean) with the words on it in the fridge.

She wanted to know if the roommate discriminted against him.

I would also like to know if the expression is commonly used in the US, too.

Thanks~

I can't say I've heard it, but I wouldn't be surprised, and I would understand it. Maybe it was a pun on "ketchup" and not an international incident.
