Topic:

Studying with a group of students in a classroom is more beneficial than learning online at home.

To what extent do you agree or disagree?

"It is often argued that offline classes with other students have more benefits than online studying. I agree with this statement because of the increased motivation and engagement that learning in groups provides.

It is obvious that studying in the classroom helps students learn more. By seeing their peers working hard to get the best results, many students are motivated to put their efforts into learning. At home, most pupils find that they are easily distracted and don't focus on the lessons in videoconferencing applications like Zoom. This is, in large part, due to distractions like social media and video games, as well as personal responsibilities like doing chores or taking care of their siblings. To illustrate, in an article by the New York Times, teenagers during COVID-19 lockdown received worse scores than they did when they were still going to school because of a lack of attention to online lectures.

Furthermore, when participating in classes, students are more engaged in learning. In groups, they will have the opportunities to ask questions and discuss the subjects with their friends. When someone doesn't understand something, others will be able to help him or her by clarifying it. This type of learning will not only have positive impacts on the tests afterwards but also foster friendship among students. For example, research in learning psychology suggests that students have a better understanding of school subjects when they study together.

In conclusion, studying at school increases students' enthusiasm for learning and makes their learning more engaging. Therefore, it is recommended that these young people take their schooling more seriously."

THE END.

Thanks for your time and effort. Wish you the best 😊

That does not make sense. You can be offline if there is a problem with your internet connection or if you have switched off your mobile device.

I believe you mean in-person classes, classes held in a traditional classroom with teacher and students.

Do you know the difference between pupils and students? Here is a picture of an American classroom with teachers and their pupils.

Here is an American classroom with students. They would be offended if you called them "pupils"

"It is often argued that offline taking / attending / being in classes with other students have more benefits than online studying by oneself online. I agree with this statement (wrong word. The statement is: "It is often argued..." You are agreeing that people argue about this subject quite often. Is that what you mean? I doubt it. You are agreeing with these people. ) because of the increased motivation and engagement that learning in groups provides.

It is obvious that (Delete. Dummy it clauses: "it is XX that ... " are rather insipid and useless, particularly when XX is the adjective "true".. Avoid them. The sentence starting with "Studying" is much more powerful and emphatic. ) Studying in the classroom helps students learn more. By seeing their peers (classmates) working hard to get the best results, many students are motivated by a spirit of competitiveness to put more effort their efforts into learning. At home, most pupils find that they are easily distracted and don't (Do not use contractions in formal writing.) focus on the lessons in videoconferencing applications like Zoom. This is, in large part, due to distractions like social media and video games, as well as personal responsibilities like doing chores or taking care of their siblings. (Most of this does not relate to "pupils" of little children in primary school.) To illustrate this, in an article by the New York Times, teenagers during COVID-19 lockdown received worse scores on standardized tests than they did when they were still going to school because of a lack of attention to online lectures.

Furthermore, when participating in classes, students are more engaged in learning. In groups, they will have the opportunities to (wordy, verbose) can ask questions and discuss the subjects with their friends. When someone doesn't (Do not use contractions in formal writing. ) understand something, others will be able to help them him or her (awkward and unnatural usage) by clarifying it. This type of learning will not only have positive impacts on the tests scores afterwards but also foster friendship among students. For example, research in learning psychology suggests that students have a better understanding of school subjects when they study together.

In conclusion, studying at school increases students' enthusiasm for learning and makes their learning more engaging. (Beware of going off-topic. The task did not ask for a solution or recommendation. Do not add one.) Therefore, I totally agree that in-person classroom instruction is far superior than using Zoom or similar applications. it is recommended that these young people take their schooling more seriously."

The word class appears to have different meanings in American and British English. It means a group of students who are taught together. Americans also use the word to mean what British people refer to as lessons.
