Riddle: It’s 7:00 am. You are asleep and there is a sudden knock on the door. Behind the door are your parents, who came to have breakfast. In your fridge: bread, milk (pasteurised!), juice, and a jar of jam. To answer, what will you open first? Only answer directly to me (PM). Thanks!

Open my eyes since I was asleep.

It's an old riddle. The original answer was "eyes." The person modified it and added, "To answer" but does that really change the riddle enough to change the answer? My opinion, No.

I'm asleep. I hear a knock on my door. I want to get up and "answer" the door. What will I open first? The added "To answer" begs a subject. "To answer (the door)", To answer (the knock)", "To answer (the riddle)" If the first thing that came to your mind is "to answer the door" or "to answer the knock" why would you then think it's no longer right when someone says "to answer the riddle" you'll have to open messenger first?
