Hi,

"Make sure the lab does a full run-up for DNA... check for everything."

Is 'a full run-up' a correct phrase? What does it mean?

Thanks.

I only hear this on TV. It seems to mean 'Do every possible test'.

I'm used to hearing "workup" on TV for that, not "run-up". "Workup" is the actual word for it, too.
