How do I write a letter for a salary increment? Any help please?

This is also called a request for a salary raise, or a salary increase request.

On the contrary, my fine fellow-- please write.
Dear sir,

i would like to request for a salary increment with a basic salary of 1800sr, as before i had signed my working contract of 1700sr during the time with my agency. but unexpectedly u were told me to sign a new working contract here in your company with a basic salary of 1500sr only as my present salary.now it is hard for me to budget and support my family with my present salary because of high cost of living and i am supporting my 2 sister in college because im the bread winner of the family.

thank you and hoping for your kind approval.

sincerely yours,

Please correct 'i' to 'I' and 'u' to 'you' as a first step.

Dear Anon:

First, as Mister M. has written, using "i" and "u" is extremely bad form in a formal letter. In fact, if I were your boss, I would consider being called "u" an insult.

Second, your first paragraph is a single sentence. This makes a negative impression. Please write in short, polite and logical sentences. And remember punctuation - the first word in the sentence must be captialized, your name should be captialized, etc.

Third, you do not justify your request by your good performance or service record with the company. Since you are asking for a significant percentage increase, you need to convince your boss that you really deserve it. Make a good argument for this.

Fourth, there are many small grammatical errors in your text. So if you write another version and post it, we will suggest further improvements.

All the best,

With due respect, I would like to get your attention to my request regarding the status of my work in your organization.

I have been working for the last two years, and I was comfortable to get along with my responsibilities and looking forward to promote the same.

, however to tell you frankly being with no package revision from the time I’ve joined the company is affecting my inspiration big time.

I sincerely hope that you will favorably consider my request for a package revision.

Thank you for your time and consideration.

Sincerely yours,

To me, the tone of this sounds threatening. 'Give me a raise or I'll stop trying to do good work'.

I suggest it's better to give concrete examples of some of the good work you have done in the past.

Best wishes, Clive
