hi

Is this sentence correct?

" Simon's father is at home watching him doing homwork, you could be forgiven for thinking that he behave so good. "

Could you please give me some your example?

thank you!

Well, your use is fine, but those are two sentences, and they are not very well related. Allow me:

Simon's father is at home watching him doing homework. His father could be forgiven for thinking that he always behaves so well.

George Bush makes so many language mistakes that we can be forgiven for being shocked that he attended Yale.

I heard that on the rare occasions that he was actually at Yale, and not frollicking on a lilo down at Bohemia Grove, he was just hanging out in his coffin in the Skull and Bones clubhouse.
