Should we capitalize the first letter of 'report' and 'resort' in the sentences above?

Sometimes these things are capitalized, sometimes not.

Here's a general rule of thumb. Capitalize if the word is part of the official name of the thing, as follows.

If the sign outside the hotel includes the word 'resort', eg 'Miami Beach Resort', use a capital. If the sign just says 'Miami Beach', don't.

If the title at the top of the report includes the word 'report', eg ''Profit and Loss Report', use a capital. If not, don't.
