hi, i don't understand the meaning of "singing in the shower will have to do" in this sentence: "Think about the sense of community and inspiration a school song provides. imagine starting your day surrounded by your neighbors greeting the day in song! Maybe singing in the shower will have to do."

I think the para praises the value of singing to you and those around you.

The author starts by presenting two social situations where a song will enhance the "feel-good" of the community.

Should you not be able to experience them for whatever reasons, you can always enjoy singing in the shower by yourself. Perhaps that would be enough for you (will have to do=will have/need to be enough).
