You know what's happening with American Soldiers in Iraq now a days. They are getting mental illness and their life is becoming worst day by day. I do realize, it's not their fault it's the fault of those who sent them. However, It's common sense if you make somebody's life worst so you too cannot live peacefully. You know what is the ratio of killings in Iraq. It is 8 Iraqi and 1 American. But American soldiers have to stand in such postion that they have to be very careful all the time a blast could may occur around themselves anytime so you can imagine their mental condition. Your international media may don't like to publish any news about American soldiers but if you wanna get the real situation listen Islamic channels.

While I agree that western media leaves a lot to be desired, I think that it is quite ridiculous to think that Islamic media would be superior in quality. It would not hurt to listen to their perspective, but not to give it superior weight.

I think some of the USA media leaves a little to be desired, certainly, but then all media has a bias. It is unavoidable.

I just don't know what to think about this war at all. I didn't really agree with our joining the US on this one but I'm not too well educated about the facts of the matter. The main reason I was against it was that it seemed as though 9/11 was being used as an excuse to wage war on a country that hadn't been involved in 9/11 but the US used it to whip up hatred of Iraq and Sadam. I'm sure if you asked a lot of people now they would think that Bin Laden was an Iraqi instead of from Saudi Arabia, and they would think he escaped to Iraq instead of Pakistan, because otherwise why go wage war on Iraq? I was disgusted by the manipulation of fake Weapons of Mass Destruction intelligence. A lot of people in the UK were very much against us joining the war - there were big demonstrations and petitions and protests against it. I thinbk a lot of people will never quite forgive Tony Blair for it.

I think Sadam needed to go, but that this was the wrong way to do it. But now that it has happened, I don't know what the best course of action would be for the Iraqi people.

I do feel sorry for the soldiers in Iraq but then they also chose to be professional soldiers. You shouldn't choose that profession unless you are willing to go to war and possibly be killed.
good piont
obviously you have no idea what you are talking about. My husband is fighting over in iraq right now. I believe in him and you should hear all the progress that is happening. The media is liberal and refuses to say anything good about Bush or this war. Have you forgotten about 9-11? I could go on but you are a waste of my time.
