It is true that many people are prepared to put up with situations like a lack of money or a job that they hate, whereas others argue that it is important to try to better one’s circumstances. While there are risks involved in trying to change things for the better, I believe that it is necessary to overcome apathy or defeatism and to pursue an optimistic path.
On the one hand, some people think they have to make the most of a bad situation. In terms of their job, they fear being made redundant. Without work their situation would be worse, and so they tolerate low pay, long hours or a lack of promotion opportunities. From a financial perspective, those in single-parent households tolerate their situation because it may be difficult to make changes and still earn a living. Working mothers in the UK, for example, are often short of money and have to face the challenge of supporting a family while doing a tiring job.
On the other hand, I agree with the view that it is best to try and change a bad situation. Firstly, it is possible to continue looking for alternative employment while still in work. It may mean studying during free hours in order to acquire new knowledge or skills, but it could be worth the effort if it improves job prospects. Secondly, a shortage of money can sometimes be compensated for by cutting down on expenses. For instance, buying second-hand clothes, or walking and cycling instead of using a car are useful ways to economize, leaving
more money for other things.
In conclusion, I believe that people should always try to improve a bad situation in order to have a better life.

It is true that many people are prepared to put up with situations like a lack of not having enough money or being stuck in a job that they hate, whereas others argue that it is important to try to better one’s circumstances. While there are risks involved in trying to change things for the better is not always easy, I believe that it is necessary to overcome apathy or defeatism and to pursue an optimistic path.

On the one hand, some people think they have to make the most of a bad situation as that is all they can do. In terms of their job, For example, they will not change jobs because they fear being made redundant. Without work, their situation would be worse, and so they tolerate low pay, long hours or a lack of promotion opportunities instead of risking change. From a financial perspective, those in single-parent households tolerate their situation because it may be difficult to make changes and still earn a living. Working mothers in the UK, for example, are often short of money and have to face the challenge of supporting a family while doing a tiring job. [ I don’t understand that. Think of a better (more convincing) example/point.]

On the other hand, I agree with the view that it is best to try and change a bad situation. Firstly, it is possible to continue looking for alternative employment while still in work. It may mean studying during free hours in order to acquire new knowledge or skills, but it could be worth the effort if it improves one’s job prospects. Secondly, a shortage of money can sometimes be compensated for by cutting down on expenses. For instance, buying second-hand clothes, or walking and cycling instead of using a car are useful ways to economize, leaving more money for other things. [ That’s off topic. It has nothing to do with how change is better.]

In conclusion, I believe that people should always try to improve a bad situation in order to have a better life.

The pressure due to today’s money-driven world causes a negative impact for many, therefore they face inconvenient conditions. Some of the belief that acceptance is not an option but opponents to this view deem to struggle to correct the situation and this what I believe. Therefore, this essay will illustrate through the following lines, both views and the reasons behind my stance.

Nowadays the global economic recession has massive influences on people's financial decisions or careers as well. In other words, this phenomenon caused a shortage of jobs, therefore, any employee has to stick with what he has now at least to survive even if his duty unsatisfied. According to an article in Economy today magazine published last March that more than 54% of employees are not convinced with their jobs but they accepted due to their daily basis demands. Hence, if the governments will keep neglecting this the percentage of proponents of this trend day by day is getting up.

However, the opponents of the earlier perspective believe of change and decline the acceptance of the bad situation. The conditions sometimes need additional efforts to be improved to the better whatever it cost. As a personal experience, I faced last year which related to acceptance of working extra hours without payment or will be terminated, subsequently, I choose to quit, but within a few days, I got an offer to work in a multinational company. Thus, as per the last example, it is clear that struggling for rights in either job or money is demand for many individuals and it is their faith as well.

In conclusion, I reiterate that these obstacles of working life and the dire consequences will be faced because of some decision that could be easy to change or enhanced by a little bit of endeavour.
