Hi,

i herewith list out some sentences in which i have marked out the doubts.. i request you to help me with these sentences...

*there was a knock at my neighbor’s door in the midnight.- what would be the better alternative for this preposition in this place? We say 'at' a specific time. at midnight.

*then you must keep two things in mind/then you must keep in mind two things- which one would be better? Both are OK

*working in an MNC in Chicago/working with a MNC in chicago- which one is correct? 'in' sounds like you are an employee. 'With' sounds like you are not an employee, eg prerhaps you are a consultant.

I don't hear people speak of an 'MNC'.

*I could not deny my boss’s order -in this sentence, is my usage "boss's" order correct? Yes. But say 'disobey' or 'refuse' instead of 'deny'.

* The thing which made me worry about my boss’s order-same doubt as in the above sentence. It's fine

*All we have to do is to visit such a site, give them the main theme or goal of the organization or whatever for which we want the logo and make the payment and there we go! A fantastic logo in our hands, within an eye blink-i guess this one is right but i would like to know if there is any other standard alternative. The common phrase is 'in the blink of an eye'.

*I started searching for any instant wedding card delivering shops in the web-is it the right preposition? No, 'on'. I'd say 'sites' rather than 'shops'. And I'd say 'delivery', or omit the word alogether.

*it is my interest which made me choose this work as my career-is there a necessity of using the word 'to' in between 'made' and 'me'? No, that would be an error.

i will be very obliged if you give me the reasons also
