Your school may have a special school counselor or a Peer Mediation Program where older kids can act as listeners and help you to sort out problems you may be having with other students.

What is Peer Mediation Program? I don't think we have it here, so would you explain it in a few words?

Second, does "sort out your problems" refer to "deal with your problems" or "make your problems clear so that they are easy to tackle?" Thanks.

As it says, older children in the school act as mediators in disputes amongst the children in the school. The theory is that children respond better to intervention by people close to them in age.

Closer to the second suggestion - trying to establish the sources and causes of problems and indicating ways to resolve them.

Thanks, Feebs.

By the way, I find it foreign and hard to catch on to use "establish" and "indicating" in your post. I wonder if they refer to "find/locate/spot" and "showing" respectively.
Sorry!

"establish" = to discover or get proof of the sources...

"indicating" = suggesting something as being suitable
