The bar chart shows the number of Indian restaurants in the UK from 1960 to 2015 and the pie chart illustrate the favorite takeaways of people in the UK. Overall, the number of Indian restaurants in the UK rose steadily during this period and we can see that Chinses and Indian takeaways are the favorites.

As it shown the least number of Indian restaurants were in 1960 and the highest number are in 2009 there are just under 10000. From 1960 to 2009 the number had increased steadily but between 2009 to 2015 the number didn’t have change. The most increasing number of Indian restaurants are between 1970 to 1977 it was about 7000.

The pie chart shows the percentage of different type of takeaways in the UK. The most popular takeaways with 34 percent is for Chinese and the next one is Indian with 26 percent. Italian takeaways account for 10 percent. Other types of takeaways are very low in comparison to Chinese and Italian.
