I'm looking at studying for a TEFL course with a school in Valencia Capital, Spain, called English World. This school teaches the course of the TEFL Institute of Chicago (http://www.teflinstitute.com ), which appears to be part of a larger organisation called the Global Education Corporation.
My question is: is this course any good? Is it well recognised? Will schools in Spain be willing to employ me with a TEFL Institute qualification?
I've heard that the Cambridge (CELTA) and Trinity College qualifications are by far the most widely accepted. Is the TEFL Institute qualification anywhere near the level of these?

Thanks,
Samuel

Never heard of it. Any private company's propriatary course is not going to have anthing like the clout of CELTA or the Trinty Cert, and by doing them you have a guarentee that the place you study is working towards a useful teaching curriculum.
DC, in EFL since 1983.
