Sorry I cannot find my post under thread 'tend to' so is the reason Iam posting it again.

Usage of "tend to," which I think is often used to say about habitual action or state. How would you rephrase it?

for eg. 'As I tend to read too much of you it gave me a free hand to pester you / etc'

can 'to read too much' mean 'if someone is misunderstanding some actions of the other person suppose for eg if a person showing care and affection is taken as love by other person so can it be said 'reading / read too much of him/her' ?]

Your example sentence, as I have told you before, does not make clear sense. Please choose another. 'Read too much of someone' normally means 'understand the unpleasant character of someone too well'.
