It is hard to be peace loving when this entire horrible incident are happening around the world. Yes I heard many time Muslim ideology of peace. What does that mean really? Does it mean peace among Muslims or peace for every non-Muslims and Muslims? Looking at the rate of violence around the world it is hard to understand.

Around the world only one group are terrorizing these days...

Just to name few, Look what is happening in Russia, Chechen (Muslim) Rebel fighters taking hostage such innocent children keeping captive for three days, for what?
Sudan, disaster situation created by Arab militia killing everyone who is a not Muslim.
Afghanistan, so many were killed just for stupid rules of radical ideas.
Thailand, many innocent villager people and Buddhist monks are killed everyday.
Philippines, all the Muslim radical kidnapping and torture.
Kashmir, separatist militant’s killing civilians for years now.
Of course many more country suffer from these groups..

And sit back and talk about peace for me is too hard. They have obligation too for humanity for the peace for better future.

In some arab countries women are not allow to drive a car, no matter which country you are from you have to follow their Islamic rule. Even foreinger Women have to cover up and follow their Islam rules. And no one is allow to question that rules. But

When France made a rule of headscarves then Islamic groups protest and now in iraq they want to kill those reporters over this headscarves issue. The Islamic groups protest for headscarves were almost in every country, England, USA, Australia, Beirut, Jordanian, Cairo and in Kuwait.

Another Islamic groups protest in Nigeria against Miss world.

Dutch Muslim Women Protest 'Mixed Swimming' space,

YET

How fair is that?

I did not see them protesting against Taliban, I did not see them protest against 9/11 killing, or I did not see them protest against poor Nepali cooks and driver being killed in such a cold manner. I did not see them protesting over Russian hostage situation. It is simply amazing how partial their demands are. And they feel that people of this world to feel sympathetic for their demand. Yet in the name of Allah these killing are happening everyday. If they felt Muslim for peace then there should be protest, but hey who will protest Swimming pool space.

I agree that it seems to be radical Muslims causing most of the religiously motivated problems on the world scene today, but that's not necessarily the case.

Look at northern Ireland. There, you have Catholics and Protestants battling it out all the time, killing people left and right. Look at what Catholic priests are (and have been) doing to children in their respective parishes. Molesting children could certainly be called terrorism. Look at the people who kill abortion doctors (I HATE abortion. I think it's murder) and patients. They say they're "Christians", and then they harrass people and kill people.

The fact of the matter is that the world in general is full of wicked people who hide behind some kind of religion so that they have an excuse to act on their own selfish desires. It's wrong no matter who you say you are, and none of the world's major religions is innocent of terrorism. It's just that the media only shows you the things they want you to see and the things that seem the most dramatic so that they'll get high ratings.

Also, keep in mind that God doesn't approve of murder for any reason, so all of those people will get what they deserve in one way or another. I'm just staying out of it all.
haogide, I would like to ask then, what would you suggest for people who have killed many times and will continue?
And what if it were in selfdefense?

lilbit...

Self-defense is another thing entirely...even still, were I to have to defend myself, my goal would be only to preserve my own life by incapacitating the other person, not killing him.

As far as people who kill and kill and will keep on...like I said, I stay out of it. There are enough people that DON'T stay out of it that I have that luxury. If everyone viewed it like I do, there wouldn't be a problem. The fact is that most people don't see it like I do, so they simply battle it out and I stay out of the situation.
Well haogide,,, it's definitly tricky. But it's nice that there are people who believe the way you do. But I think what I believe and what you believe could be a little different. Maybe not by far but a little different. It would seem that once someone is convicted, that they tend to sit in our system and eat up tax dollars. And this goes on for many years and for many people. I would rather see the money spent on more needy issues than baby sitting someone that will never change their ways.
Well let me stop at that...... I don't want MountainHiker after me again. LOL, Just kidding with you MountainHiker. Really I am.
I can really see your point, Lilbit. It does seem like a major shame that tax payers are footing the bill for a bunch of people who will never change and may or may not ever get out of prison for any reason. It's really unfair, but I figure it's better than having them on the streets, and I'm not the one making the decisions, so I don't worry about that part much.

Sounds like something I have heard before, Don't worry about the things you can not change. Thanks for the reminder. It's really good advice.
sometimes it's not always that easy.

Hi, I am (or was) a Muslim and yes, it means peace among all people, including non-Muslims. Unfortunately, in Muslim's utopia, the non-Muslims have to pay special tax. If they don't want to pay, they must leave the town. If they don't want to pay the tax or leave, they will be killed. Now that I can think from the outside perspective, I don't quite trust my religion anymore.
