Hi

I have often come across expressions like:

That's so 80's.

That's so 90's.

The type of expression is used when the speaker sees something that reminds him/her of a particular time.

Are these expressions natural English?

Thanks,

Tom

PS: Can I use the word decade in place of time? ...reminds him of a particular decade.

Mr. TomThat's so 80's.

Depending on the context, it is either a derogatory expression of disdain, or of admiration and praise.
