I'm wondering whether the expression 'that's why' can be put at the beginning of a sentence. For instance, in this one:
"Well, if you ask me, you're working rather badly these days. That's why I assume you're very likely to be dismissed next month. It'll be very fair."

P.S. Could you correct this sentence, please?

I don't see any reason why 'that's why' shouldn't be put at the beginning of a sentence:

'Junk food contains high levels of sugar. That's why kids like it.'
'New Puss-U-Like is extremely cheap. That's why nine out of ten owners said their cats preferred it.'
'Apparently she hates California. She says it's too cold and damp.' 'That's why the lady is a tramp, if you want my honest opinion.'
