A warm hello to everybody from bottom of my heart [L]

My topic is about "How to keep our body very much clean and soul very much pure throughout all of life"

By following these steps, you can reach the highest stage of purity And clearness of your body.

First, Before leaving toilet, make sure that you have washed your private parts properly, to wash it . It's very essential in the Islamic Religion for keep body pure and clean.

Second, just muslims doing the following practice five times a day before each pray,

Say "name of Allah" then.

1. Wash the hands up to the wrists,.

2. Rinse out the mouth with water,

3. Cleanse the nostrils of the nose by sniffing water into them,

4. Wash the whole face with both hands, if possible, from the top of the forehead to the bottom of the chin and from ear to ear.

5. Wash the right arm up to the far end of the elbow, and then do the same with the left arm.

6. Wash the inner sides of the ears with the forefingers and their outersides with the thumbs. This should be done with wet fingers.

7. Wash the two feet up to the ankles, , beginning with the right foot.

THE END ..

Third, Never make sex with anybody except with your husband or wife in your whole life.

Forth, Must take a shower after having sexual intercourse with your husband or wife.

I think all this make the Muslims body the cleanest body in this life , are not they ?

PLEASE THINK DEEPLY BEFORE THE ANSWER .

THANK YOU.Emotion: smile

Best wishes,

They certainly sound like good rules for good health.
This is a clear example of the obsession with the outward trappings of religion. You should keep clean because it is good to keep clean, not because some book written over a thousand years ago tells you to keep clean. Unless they are involved in some activity that requires it, no one needs to wash as much as five times a day. Besides, I have seen the ritual washing that some Moslems do - dip a finger in the water and dab it in the right places. Above all, I do not like the tone of your post that suggests that Moslems are cleaner than people of other religions.

I thought deeply before answering.

Dear Forbes!
I admit, the tune may be not good, should be polite, but this sentence confuse me" because some book written over a thousand years ago tells you to keep clean" are you trying to say the book is Qur'an and written by somebody (Mazallah). I do realize, You are not only the one, there are also some other non-muslims who feel like this. So I've to clear one thing, we do not do anything by themselves. Everything we practice is the order of Allah and the way of practice of Prophet Mohammad(SAW) that cannot be changed, didn't change and will not be changed wheither non-muslims like it or not. So if you criticise by saying ritual or old it direct indicate that the order of God does not carry weight. In last, it's also about the purity of soul that works you may not get but as you think it's not needed for yourself that's fine but don't call this practice as unneeded.

First of all,I agree with Forbes when he say that you should keep clean because it is good to keep clean!I don't want to imagine if a religion tells to its believer that they must not keep clean!!Secondly,it's not good for your skin to wash so many times a day! Emotion: indifferent Finally,I thought deeply before answering, and I think that some rules sometimes are wrong, and I'm not talking only about Islam, there are many other religions out there!

Well, I'm all in favour of any religion that can get people to wash a bit more often – especially those that share my carriage on the underground at this time of year.

(Though I hope the areas between the parts mentioned above are also abluted thoroughly.)

Orange Flower I have some questions.
1)In the time of Mohammad as far as I know that he had to lead sometimes a nomadic life and used to fight against different clans .If it is true, in countries full of deserts like Arab was sufficient water available everywhere at that time?
2)What do you people do in winter?Do you follow the same rule?
3)Don't you have poor people in your country who do not have provision for warm water in winter at any time of the day/night?

I have some informations for you because I think you are not sufficiently aware of the rest of the world.
In countries like India ,Pakistan and Afganistan etc. there are some places where water is very scarce.People can hardly manage to provide water for cooking and drinking. So these five times washing a day is a luxury for them ,whatever religion they belong it does not matter.
Secondly I have seen a muslim family very closely, who was my nextdoor neighbour, they used to bathe once in a week (that is in Friday/Jummah)in winter, although they were very pious ,because it was very cold in winter there and they had six children so it was not possible in the morning to bathe all of them before going to school and on fridays there were a lot of chaosEmotion: big smile form early morning.
So I think people have to change with time and place. There cannot be rigid rules.

I didn't even get your one point, do you know how much water is needed for one vozoo(practice before each pray). It's few like washing face hands arm and foot. I'm also from pakistan but I've never heared that there are some people who don't have even some water for drinking, washing face, hands, arms and foot. If it happens people go to die. Furthermore, the few places where water isn't good they use water filter. Moreover, in every mosque there is proper place for vozoo and bathing. In entire pakistan there is no mosque without water system.
