Hi

What would be word (verb) for when you want something ‘over/finished/moved, etc’ somewhere?

For example, there is a traffic signal/ traffic circle/charity hospital somewhere and you feel it shouldn’t be.

I strongly feel that this traffic signal should be ________________________.

The charity hospital was _____________________ two years ago. (Supposing the building is still there.)

Thanks,

Tom

Mr. TomThe charity hospital was _____________________ two years ago. (Supposing the building is still there.)

You say that the situation is that

... there is (something) somewhere and you feel it shouldn’t be.

The use of "was" in the set-up is confusing. I think maybe, even though it doesn't have "was", you want

The hospital should have been removed two years ago.

On the other hand, you may want something like this:

The hospital was slated/scheduled for removal two years ago(, but it's still there).

eg I strongly feel that this traffic signal should be removed.

You don't really need to say 'I strongly believe' when you express your opinion Just state it as a fact, eg This traffic signal should be removed.

eg The charity hospital was relocated two years ago.
