The bar chart compares the average amount of time per day that people with the ages of 15-19 and 75+ in the US spent on different activities in 2015.
Generally,the average amount of time spending on watching TV were by far highest among the remaining leisure activities for both age groups.In addition,except for socialising and communicating,there was a stark difference between the amount of time comsumed on each activity by two groups.
In 2015,people aged 75 and over in the US spent an average of 4.5 hours per day by watching TV,while those who aged 15-19 spent an average of roughly 2.5 hours per day.Furthermore,the amount of time spent on reading by 75+,was at 5 hours per day,compared with approximately 0.3 hours.Also,people aged 75+ spent an average of nearly 0.5 hours by relaxing and thinking,while just over 0.1 hour spending by youngest population.
Regarding for the other leisure activities,the younger group spent over twice times as much time on the computer than older ones,at an average of 1.1 and 0.5 hours respectively.Sport,exercise and recreation was also favoured more by younger group,with spending an average of 0.6 hours per day ,while with the older group that they spent over 0.2 hours.Concerning with socialising and commnicating,a similar amount of time spending by both groups,with just below an hour each day on this activity.
