Hello. I'm a student studying English.

A few minutes ago, I asked if the phrase " the fare of the train" is correct, and the answer was No.

The answer was " it should be 'the train fare'.

How about the "the fare for the train"?

Thank you.

Both are OK, although which is better depends on the context.

Yes, this is possible (though "train fare" is simpler and more common).
