I really need some help with these questions as I'm not a strong English student or a good analyzer of plays or literature in general.
Is the point of attack early or late?
What is the inciting event?

Does the movement of the play suggest that there will be a central discovery? If so, what is it, and why is it necessary?

We won't supply you with the answers but we'll help you express yourself once you've come up with some ideas.

I would have thought the first two were fairly straightforward - assuming you have actually read the play. These questions are not asking for analysis.

I am trying to prepare essays on the Misathrope, and I was wondering if anyone could help me bounce ideas. The question I am trying to answer at the moment is - Are the characters in Le Misathrope representations of all humans?

I would appreciate any feedback,

Thanks, Denise.
