The other woman is a mistress of a married man. But what if the other woman found that this man has relationships with the a woman other than her and his wife?

What do you call such a woman?

I need this word as there are some sex scandals about a very famous sports host in our country. And I want to know whether there is a word for such men and women.

I don't think there is one, but you could have some language fun by calling her 'the other other woman' or 'another other woman'. I don't think I've seen 'other man' used. Maybe another member has.
Thanks, Mister Micawber.

I'd like to dig this topic deeper.

A woman who has affairs with another woman's husband is that man's mistress. Such a woman is called the other woman.

Then a man who has affairs with another man's wife is that woman's _. Such a man is called _.

Such men and women are called __. (Is there a generic term?)

I'd say she's her lover. I've never heard "other man" except in jest. If you said "I spent three years being 'the other man' and I finally accepted she would never leave her husband and moved on," I would know what you meant, but it's not a common expression.

You can call them adulterers, I suppose.

Hi,

I'd say she's her lover. You're opening a can of worms here, Barb.Emotion: wink

Whoopsie!

HE is her lover. (Although she is his lover too.)
