Can you briefly explain to me the difference in meaning among these three:

1. I don't care what the others are doing.

2. I don't care what other people are doing.

3. I don't care what others are doing.

It seems to me that 2 and 3 are pretty much the same.

3. I don't care what others are doing.-- Any others (other people). 'Others' is a pronoun.
