Mom was caught by the store clerk pushing around a child's baby stroller with a baby inside

1. Can I replace "the store clerk" with "a salesperson"?

2. Caught here means caught Mom's attention, right?

3. Can I call replace "child's baby stroller " with "a stroller" or " a baby stroller"?

Thanks!

New2grammar2. Caught here means caught Mom's attention, right?
Normally, "caught" used in a context like this would mean she was doing something she shouldn't be doing. Here, though, I have no idea what is meant. I even read the relavent blog entry but it doesn't help clarify the meaning.
I understand the meaning of the caught you're saying like "She caught me staring at her"

Thanks RayH.

Do you have more context. It's a odd sentence. My first impression is that she was trying to steal the stroller?
Or maybe is was a child's stroller for her doll, and she was using it with a real baby? This makes no sense.

That was my impression as well. Since N2G is won't post the link I will.
The entry in question is under the title: "in atlanta, celebrating with family!!!"

Okay, I got it. This woman seems to think that everyone is fascinated with every moment of her pregnancy. Perhaps her family is. I suppose it's better than having to answer the same questions 50 times.

She's saying that her mother is so excited about the pending arrival of the baby that she was pushing around a little "dolly stroller" wih the dolly in it, obvioulsy pretending/looking forward to it being her own grandchild in a real stroller. Like little girls being caught by the store clerk trying on wedding veils, or something like that.
Sorry for the confusion. RayH, thanks for providing the link on my behalf. I'll post the link in the future if I quote from an article.
Barbara,
My hat is off. I would never in million years have figured that out from the blog entry.

I'm also glad that I'm not the only one to get the impression that this woman has way too much time on her hands.
