The table presents the percentages of Canadian,German and Britian population with the age of 65 and above and the predicted figure in the future.
Looking at the general perspective,the proportion of senior citizens in German occupied the highest point,while Britian had the lowest figure of all times.It is notewortly noticed that the figure for all three countries witnessed an upward trend and are predicted to continually increasing to the furture.
In 1988,the figure for citizens with the age of over 65 in Germany was largest,which accounted for 20% higher than that of 6% and 4% in Canada and UK respectively.By 2000,the percentage of the population with aged 65 and above in Germany increased to 25% and with a decrease to 21% and 15% in Canada and UK correspondingly.
In 2030,those data for the population with aged 65 and over in Germany are anticipated to continue growing to about 30%,still standing at the highest point.Likewise,the figures for Canada are predicted to be 26%,while the UK will be at 20%.
