Hi,
Anonymoushow much time is required to become a specialist doctor
It depends on what type of specialty it is. There are two choices to become a Doctor. They are:
1. Physician
It takes approximately 5 years to become a Super specialist Doctor after graduation (MBBS). MBBS stands for Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of surgery. *MBBS course duration is 5 years and 6 months.
Once you become a super specialist in Medicine, your qualification will be like this: MBBS, MD, DM

2. Surgeon
It takes approximately 5 years to become a Super specialist Doctor after graduation (MBBS)
Once you become a super specialist in Surgery, your qualification will be like this: MBBS, MS, M.Ch

The above two examples are applicable in the Indian Sub-continent, and in some parts of Europe.

Looking forward to hearing from you, if any.
Regards,
Sri
