Hi,

I have heard the expression: "I am off leaving the office" does it mean "I am going to leave the office" ?

I have checked the dictionary but this small word is crazy, it means so many things!!!!! Emotion: sweating

Thanks

Hi Pamela,

"I am off leaving the office" is not a natural thing to say. Omit the 'off'.
Say "I am leaving the office'
or simply 'I am off'.

Perhaps you misheard.

Does "I am off" means that "I am going to leave the office " or that "I am not in the office"?

This is not clear to me

Thanks!!
Hi,

I am off means you are right now leaving the place where you say it.
