I am sorry that I left out the "To collect / collecting" part and a few others. Would the following "collect" usages be correct?

1. Artist Soong is in town to collect his overdue welcome and exhibit his latest work along with the "Going home" piece that was once banned from showing them at a number of local galleries.

2. Artist Soong is in town to collecting his overdue welcome and exhibiting his latest work along with the "Going home" piece that was once banned from showing them at a number of local galleries.

3. Artist Soong is in town collecting his overdue welcome and exhibiting his latest work along with the "Going home" piece that was once banned from showing them at a number of local galleries.
