Hi,

Many times we think about doing something new and good. For the last two years I have been thinking to wake up early in the morning so that I can do exercise and can have a walk in a garden. I have succeeded in doing that sometimes but then again I return to my old habit of waking up late. As you know habits die hard. I have concluded that to start a certain thing is not a big deal but to remain steadfast to it is real ..... I can't find a suitable word to use after real that's why I chose to use ellipsis. Please let me know any suitable word which I can use in place of ellipsis. You can say I'm trying to create a proverb. I have given my suggestion please you give yours.

How about:

"To start a certain thing is not a big deal, but to remain steadfast to it is THE BIG DEAL."
