Dominik Yes, it's about Contraversial section. Sometimes I had to wait a few hours to see my post. It can be irritating.
I see what you mean, but please consider that all the mods are volounteers and have their own jobs. Emotion: smile
DominikOn Polish forums I haven't met with approving posts yet. I don’t quite understand what is the aim of this. Of course vulgar or offensive posts are deleted but only after posting. Do you think that Poles go over the top with freedom of speech?

In Poland there are mostly Polish people, while here we have a great many nationalities with different cultures, traditions, religions, languages, etc from all over the world (i.e. they've more reasons to fight), which makes the job of keeping the forum tidy more difficult. So, in my opinion, it's better to prevent "riots" than to liquidate their consequences.

And I like the premoderated forums. They are cleaner and quieter. Thanks, moderators.
Being a moderatoer in two forums in Russia I know how hard it is to moderate afterwards.
>we have mods from a great many countries (Canada, the USA, the UK, Italy, Russia, India, Japan, Indonesia, the UAE, etc), (...) we have a great many nationalities with different cultures, traditions, religions, languages, etc from all over the world

That's why I like this forum very much.

You are doing a great job. Keep it up!

Hi Dominik, and everybody,

Thanks very much for the thanks. I, and I'm sure all the other Mods, appreciate it.
I realize that this post is perhaps superfluous (all the important stuff has already been said by others), but please rest assured that we do have systems in place (informal as they be) to try to ensure that Moderators do not try to 'steer' threads in favour of their own points of view. We are all human though, so if from time to time our various weaknesses result in what may be considered 'steering' then we apologize - it is not our collective intention at all.
Again, on behalf of the EF team, thanks for the thanks :-)

Well, moderators and posters, let's make this forum much better together!
