In companies, both 'training' and 'education' are heard I think. I wonder what is the difference.

1. training = teaches the employees how to do his/her specific job?

2. education = is given for employee welfare, like appreciating classical novels or learning how to dance?

Generally speaking, training is more specific and practical, and education is more theoretical. Thus, it's much more common for companies to provide training for their employees.
