I've made a Tetris as a school project (www.freewebs.com/aradu) and I'm gonna have a speech about how I made it. I'm gonna speak about how I made the game and that I went through four phases in the developing process: e.g. the Planning phase. In my Power point presentation I want to write something like this:

"Composite an outline of the game…", which was one of my steps in my planning. What I want to know is if I use these words wrong, or is the sentence too complicated? What I want to say is that I made an overview of how I wanted the game to look.

Could I write this sentence down in a better way? Any help is appreciated, thanks.

Not 'composite'-- 'compose'.

Compose an outline of the game.
Plan an outline of the game.
Draw up an outline of the game.
