Im trying to remember a word I came across recently. I believe the definition is something to the effect of "to be damaging to ones reputation,/to damage ones reputation" It's quite specific to the meaning but I cant remember it for the life of me, nor can I seem to find it anywhere on the net. Anyone? Just rattle some ideas off...

thanks

Libellous? Slanderous? Defamatory? Disparaging?
To compromise? To jeopardize?

No sorry.. none of em. Its a really specific word that you would really only use in context to the hurting of your reputation or what people think of you.
