Hi
ok that's great you don't expect profound answers because I'd be unable to give them!!
what was before there was nothing? I just imagine a wide black hole...
who or what created God? well, first of all, who has a concrete and scientist proof of the exixtence of God? to me, God is the result of imagination..it was created by people who want to believe in someone they can't reach.
Hi Amandine,

Thanks for your very interesting response. However , the first question still exists in my mind as I consider the black hole as an .entity. Personally I think you’re on target with your answer to the second question. Humankind's history strongly validates your theory.

A. Was there ever nothing ?
B. Did anyone or thing create God or had God always existed?
Because in our present existance everything has a beginning and an end, we cannot comprehend eternity or something with no beginning or end. Just because it is beyond what our minds can grasp, does not mean it does not exist.
So maybe there was never nothing and God always existed.
A. there was God. from a religious standpoint, God is often viewed out of our own timeline. he has his own timeline. so i would expect that he was there when there was nothing.
haha i just read the second part to your msg...wait im confused now..w/e so i agree taht God always existed
B. God was the ultimate creator. no one created God. One might believe taht someone must have created God or else, how can God create something that is beyond his power. (like creating a burger so big he cant eat it; the cliché sunday school quesitons). i don't even think that i answer the quesiton but i'll end off with this quote: "If we truly understand God, we are gods ourselves."

A = Stable Randomness

B = Man

Oh, it seems this topic is poised to become a sensitive topic.

I agree with Guest's point : "If we truly understand God, we are gods ourselves." Whether you believe in God or not, believe in yourself.

The imaginative 'God' was created:
1) So that one can escape from some difficult questions -How the world got created?
2) Put their sorrow and worries on 'some' person so that their heart feels relaxed.

B. Man created God in his own image. I hope there is a BOF out there: a Benevolent Omnipotent Being. If there is, it/he/she loves me for all my strengths and in spite of my weaknesses. If there is one, I will find out when I leave this place; if there isn't, I'll never know the difference.

A. Obviously, I was before there was nothing, or else I would never have shown up on this earth.
Dear Philip,

I agree with you in one point - Man created God in his own image.
