One time in my last job , A guest came to me to check in , Unfortunately the Hotel has to relocate any remaining guests . The guest was so frustrated because he was expected to get a special service and he thinks that he is more than a normal guest. I did my best to calm him and showing a great sympathy then , it comes to my mind a good idea . After having checked his history data . I found he is a very special guest. It would be a big loss if we lost him because he is such a great return to the hotel. After getting an approval from the person who was in charge of the shift.I suggested to make a new reservation with the same amenities in other branch near by.He welcomed the idea very much. I've arranged a transportation for him and he was more satisfied actually , he was so delighted.

Hospitality industry almost like customer service field and delivering quality guest service is not part of my job . Actually it is my job. I do have Ethical manners,product awareness,effective up-selling techniques, financial awareness and telephone manners. I`m handling all sorts of requests,payment methods,meeting schedules and other personal data . I`m capable of identifying and dealing with frequent problems.Basically, The only difference is that I`m dealing with clients face to face but Customer service is depending more on Telephone methods.

Hospitality is about connection. It’s about how people feel after they've purchased from you. It’s about the bonds, relationships and positive feelings between our team and our customers. I believe that customer service account for 75% of the hospitality industry .
I think you will find that "Please" is much more effective than "URGENT!" when you are asking for help. (Don't you feel the same is true in Customer Service? And helping here is not even our job -- we are all volunteers.)

I've handled all sorts of requests, payment methods, meeting schedules and other personal data. <-- I don't think data is the right word. It's not clear what you mean.

I'm capable of identifying and dealing with frequent problems. Basically, the only difference is that I`m dealing with clients face-to-face but Customer Service is dealing with them by telephone.

I was trying to say That Hospitality industry is very similar to customer service industry by which delivering quality guest service is not part of my job . Actually , its my job. or Customer service is the essence of the hospitality industry. I don`t how to express it well , There are two industries which are Hospitality and customer service . the hospitality could be a Hotel , etc.. but Customer service industry like working in Telecommunication company like Orange or Vodafone .
