I'm still undecided about our vacation to Africa. My girlfriend said her boss would be glad to hear that she would be going to Africa as he's an African and that he would approve her vacation/days off without a doubt.

1. Is it correct?
2. Which choice is correct, vacation/days off?
Thanks in advance

I think that vacation is correct.
Does it mean she's going to Africa or it's still undecided?

i feel vacation is correct. I think I'm still undecided sounds not good. We can use : I'm still not sure about our vacation to Africa.
write vacation if its a vacation otherwise it would just be days off like any other leave notice. what u have to bear in mind is to make it factually correct.

Strictly speaking the boss can approve her request for time off/days off.
There is nothing in the above that confirms whether she will or will not go to Africa.
