They are both correct, but nobody would say "yet join" without a good reason. Use "No, she didn't join yet."

Incidentally, this is a good example of the US tendency to use the simple past where a Brit would use the present perfect. It is also a good example of a context where even an American would be likely to sense a problem and use the perfect, "No, she hasn't joined yet."
