Which form of verb, "is" or "are", should I used after the following subjects?

1. "Uncountable noun" and "uncountable noun" (eg. the software and the hardware)
2. "Uncountable noun" and "countable noun" (eg. the equipment and the system)
3. Each "uncountable noun" and "countable/uncountable noun"
(eg. each software and the hardware, each piece of equipment and the system, etc.)

Thank you in advance for your help.

Multiple nouns make a plural subject, so say 'are' in each case.

Note that you can't say 'each software'. You need to say something like 'each piece of software ' or 'each software package' or 'each software component'.

Best wishes, Clive
