What is the verb form of nuisance? Can I say "nuisance call" when someone often receives calls from a stranger? And, what is the appropriate word to describe the person who receives "nuisance call"? Mary was being XXX ?

Thanks!

Hi, Nina. Welcome to EF.

Nuisance call is a term which is beind used in relation to the automatic call system when the connection is established, but the operator is not on the line. It's reffering to some sort of marketing surveys, I guess.
