Hi there,

How can I say 'ed' sound in 'walked in'?

Is it [-kt] or [-kd]? So how can I link the sound [-ed] and [in] when pronouncing 'walked in'?

Hi,
that's difficult, no one knows... no one knows what happens in those cases!
You should say walkt in, but not walk tin.
Saying walkt in, the final part of the t sound could turn into a d sound.

That's what it seems to me, let's see what the others think. Emotion: smile

waktin (Do not aspirate the t.)
or wakdin

(wa as in water.)
