Sometimes giant pandas are found wandering into farmers' houses for food.

I doubt if wandering sounds as right as intruding/tresspassing/invading in the above sample. Thanks.

wander: accent on moving randomly
tresspass/invade/intrude: accent on entering without permission

Hi Angliholic

'Wandering' sounds good to me. It basically suggests that the farmers' houses were among many indiscriminate places that the pandas looked for food.

I definitely would not use trespassing. Trespass suggests an unlawful act, and is generally something only a human can do.
